Para contextualizar, en el año 2014 vimos la más enorme y mediática filtración de fotografías, una colección de casi quinientas instantáneas de rostros famosos de la talla de Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst o Scarlett Johansson, fueron publicadas.
Dicho material, que perteneciente mayoritariamente a mujeres, fue colgado en numerosos sitios como Tumblr, entre otros, y visto por millones de usuarios.
Por medio de una investigación se determinó que las fotografías fueron obtenidas violando el servicio de almacenamiento en nube iCloud, aunque Apple posteriormente determinó que los hackers responsables de la filtración lograron su objetivo tras obtener información de las cuentas de las víctimas, como sus contraseñas, y no a través de alguna falla del servicio.
En ese momento, víctimas como Jennifer Lawrence se pronunciaron tras esto. Un portavoz de la actriz aseguró: «Esta es una violación flagrante de la privacidad. Las autoridades han sido contactadas y procesarán a cualquiera que publique las fotos robadas de Jennifer Lawrence».
Ahora, hace pocas días un sitio web comenzó a publicar sin consentimiento las fotografías del “Celebgate”, pero además un importante volumen de material obtenido desde cuentas de Only*Fan*s y U*nlo*k, ambas redes sociales en las que los creadores de contenido comparten imágenes y vídeos.
Cómo es sabido, para acceder a este material es necesario ser un fans de la persona pública en cuestión, lo que implica un gasto mensual fijado por la creadora del contenido.
